Then, if you're feeling conventional, make sure each line has the same number of syllables and the last word of at least the even numbered lines rhyme in pairs (i.e. lines 2 and 4 rhyme with each other). When you've figured this out, feel free to experiment as you see fit.

One of my favourite things about the corner is encouraging ppl to branch out, by getting them to write about themes they wouldnt normally always think of. We arent here to accomodate you, and turn you all into lazy little poets by having you submit things youve already got lying around, thats all fine and dandy, but creativity is the name of the game, right?:P

Do you see me suggesting "kaimees angst and stress and worries" as a theme? no :P The theme will be announced when it is announced, its not going to change because ppl are too lazy to write themmed poetry, this place isnt here to stuff every little bit of poetry you own, its here to give ppl the opportunity to have their correctly themed poetry appear in the herald as a special treat :P so shuddup with all the whining everyone! :P

But dance is very much an emotive thing, just like writing, or artistry, or acting-it is all about conveying ypur emotions in a non verbal way- I believe that people that do this(in what ever way are indeed, gifted-( I don't mean me, I mean artists and the like, in general)-Emotive intelligence :)

Poetry only goes here if it matches the THEME, the one just ending being 'The Music of Life', (NOT just for whatever new poetry you have) and why don't you just go make a wiki page if all you want to do is show off? Maybe I'm just in a bad mood, but you've just annoyed me A LOT. It shows how much respect you pay to this place that you not only didn't bother reading the rules before trying to post, but you thought you were SOMEWHERE ELSE? >.< Just.. go away.

(Note: it is definetely not for posting random poetry on) It's very nice that you enjoy poetry, I'm sure lots of people here would like to see your poetry, however, if you're going to post poetry here read the rules, follow the rules, only post correctly themed poetry, and only post them on the page during the correct times.
